in concert

fusion
bites
the air
transfusions
of
sound
moss-covered
limbs
auras
shield from wings
that drone
tune in
to peninsular sounds
oceans, bays
wash turtles, knights
music pre-empts coils of smoke
jangles through
the changing clime
dengue-filled
the Ocean rises
beats of hearts and beats of drums
nations watch
and platelettes plunge

Nice but sub par for the course. There is nicer stuff in dog eared diaries in your residence.

Hi Shruti,
Really like the strong visual element in these poems! I think this one is my favourite...

shall rifle through all manner of suspended, discarded and stored work in an attempt to discover some hidden masterpiece- methinks none exists! (Surely, the stalled work of magic realism doesn't count).
