Deep trenches
-intrigue underground.
gnarled tracks: uneven, dark
slippery, treacherous
routes hang loose.
Point of distress-
match and game
come hurtling back
deflected aim.
Cracks open, arches close
resounding ecoes
alter, falter
Bytes hit dust.
Sound asleep
-hibernate
or let the tunnel
be the funnel
to the ground.
